The ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business & Management is a 60-credit size qualification. The ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business & Management is a 120 credit size qualification and is the equivalent size and level to the 1st year of a Bachelor’s degree. These qualifications are designed to develop your understanding of management and to develop key management skills.

What does the qualification progress to?

Learners who complete the ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management qualification can progress to the ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Business and Management.

Learners who complete the ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management qualification can progress to the ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma in Management which provides entry to the third year of a variety of Bachelor’s Degree Top-Up Programmes at a university.

ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education)

The Level 4 Extended Diploma in Business and Management is a 120-credit course (Ofqual regulated qualifications) designed to fast track students to the second year of an associated Undergraduate degree in Business and Management, which can either be completed at a UK university on campus or via distance learning. The Level 4 modules and assignments of this course are equivalent to the first year of a University Degree. This course is made up of 4 compulsory modules and 4 optional modules. Completion of this course allows the student to apply for an exemption from the first year of a university Degree course.
