Course Overview

The ability to lead and manage people is a skill that any organization needs to foster in order to remain or become successful. Organisations that ignore the development of these key skills risk failure. Greater automation and increased use of technology by businesses have not lessened the importance of this key skill. This intensive 5-day workshop will give managers and future organizational leaders the tools and framework to ensure they are aware (or are creating) the organizational vision, mission and values and are imbuing their team in those key areas. It will look at the personal behaviors of leadership, motivating for performance improvement, developing employees for performance improvement and increased motivation, frameworks for problem-solving and decision making, performance management and leading a team towards the mission vision and values of the organization. Once the learner has completed the post-course assignments to the required standard, they will be awarded a Level 3 Certificate in Leadership and Management from the ILM, Europe’s leading management award body.
