Description:
This is a fun course that will enable you to play a very laid-back, beachy, fun, tropical song on a Steel Drum (or even a Steel Drum app) for your friends and family. You will learn the notes to play at a VERY SLOW speed, gaining confidence, until you can play the song at full speed.
Once you learn the basic notes that comprise the song, you will be playing along with the instructor. Once you're comfortable with that, YOU will take the lead!
The course is meant for beginners with no musical knowledge.
Basic knowledge:
You need nothing for this course other than a willingness to watch the lectures and play along with the instructor. There is no musical experience required, and you may want to use two styluses as drumsticks.

What will you learn:
You will first watch a video of the entire song being played at full speed, so you will see the goal you're trying to attain. Then, you will learn the notes of the song and how to play each section. Then you will play the song along with the instructor at a moderate speed. At the end of the course, you will be prepared to "take the lead" on the Steel Drum.
