Course Overview

Internal Controls are part of Governance Risk and Compliance -GRC- System which relies on controls to ensure risks are mitigated. Which is why we have structured this course with Corporate Governance and Enterprise Risk Management -ERM. The Board and Senior Management should be well equipped in their strategies to introduce controls in various functions of the organization such as systems control administrative safety controls financial reporting controls ITGC controls physical controls and external reporting controls which basically stems from broader levels of business cycles such as Purchase payment sales receivable HR Inventory production cycle long-term assets collections turnover cycle etc. We will cover all areas of business life cycles with the adjacent controls the senior management need to be aware and formulate their strategies to have effective internal controls in place which will not only detect fraud but will result in operational and financial efficiencies for the organization as a whole.
