MA Data Journalism is a practice-based course where you'll develop key skills in an exciting new field of journalism, informed by reflection and critical theory.

The course encourages the development of data journalism in news and investigation as well as in cultural, lifestyle and feature-based journalism, preparing you for jobs such as data journalist, social media journalist and interactive editor.

  • You'll develop the key practical skills and contextual and ethical understanding needed to take up positions in one of the fastest growing fields in contemporary journalism, as well as creating new theoretical and practice-based knowledge in these still emerging areas.
