Job description / Role
The client is a part of a holding company which has offices in Virginia, USA, UAE, Turkey and other countries of the region. It is one of the main investors in the field of Agriculture (fresh and dry fruits and vegetables), Livestock (dairy, poultry), and Fast Food. The company aims to get involved in the food processing industry. The primary desire is to establish small industries to produce necessitate food stuff like macaroni, spaghetti, pasta, biscuits.
The candidate will assist in providing support in:
- Business management
- Provision Managing, Training, Concept Development and Strategy consulting services
- Coordination with Stakeholder and counterparts
- Business idea generation, Proposal and Business Plan development
- Integration and up gradation in the target business arena
Responsibilities include:
- To ensure products are manufactured in accordance with the Quality standards.
- To ensure implementation of Quality assurance standards at all process.
- To organize in house and external testing of raw materials and packaging materials
- To Manage Microbiological testing programs & necessary corrective actions to reduce & eliminate micro load
- Responsible for Training of Q.C .lab chemist, processing operators and production staff
- To develop & implement of HACCP Plan
- To ensure food safety, and ISO: 22000 systems implementation.
- Implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) Program
- Prepare SOPs, Schedules, Procedures and control forms.
- To develop of food safety and HACCP teams.
- To conduct internal audit for all departments (Quality, production, store, Warehouse and sale).
- To regularize internal & external food safety audits
- To participate effectively on preparation of documentation required for FSMS (Food safety management system)
Requirements
Candidate must have PHD/Master degree in Food Science and Technology or microbiology with 6 years and 8 years relative experience in the field of Food Safety and Quality control / Quality Assurance respectively and background information on management
