Job description / Role
The client is a private financial company located in Kabul, Afghanistan. They are part of a bigger Holding Group that has offices in Dubai and in the US. They specialize in bureau of exchange, money transfer, microfinance, investment products, insurance consulting, and financial services.
The International Product Development Specialist will be responsible for and will manage product development.
The position will report to the CEO and will work closely with the business development and the marketing team.
The position is for a 1-year contract.
Responsibilities include:
- Assists in or produces feasibility studies/business plans for new product development.
- Development of business proposals, business strategy and business policies etc.
- Assesses market competition.
- Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on- investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business with concentration in banking and finance or related field with 5 years of project/program management experience.
- Marketing degree in business or commerce is a plus.
- Working hours flexibility is required
- Travel would be required
