Prime Power Manager

Job description / Role

• Will be involved in all prime power projects within Afghanistan.
• Understanding all mechanical, electrical and High Voltage power plants necessary to install and prepare power station equipment for initial startup and continuous maintenance.
• Reading and understanding all contractual requirements while tracking, updating and providing solution for any encountered ad-hoc problem.
• Ensures at all times that information and standard operating procedures are in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations, and are tracked, updated and audited continuously.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills to estimate, Initiate and effectively manage any RFP’s (Request for Proposal) related to engineering/prime power services and preparing cost sheets for the total planned cost for executing the project
• Apply a maintenance assessment process and a proactive maintenance timeline.
• Following and updating maintenance orders for material consumption of the equipment’s and assets within the country
• Prepares or completes various forms, reports, correspondence, inventory records, fuel usage reports, purchase requests, budget documents, or other documents.
• Communicates with Program Lead, department personnel, supply chain and other departments, mechanics, and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, review status of work, exchange information, or resolve problems
