Director of Operations

Be an ambassador of the brand and the property as Director of Operations, where your leadership, strong interpersonal skills and strategic vision will drive an engaged team, guest satisfaction and maximized operating results.

You will be in charge of the operational aspects including, the front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage. Your main responsability will be to insure the best experience for all our guests.

You will bring your strong commercial acumen and tenacity to drive the top line to exceed the target and to position our property at the top of the marketplace.

You will be responsible for:

- Overseeing the operations departments : Rooms & F&B.
- Supporting the General manager in the overall management and strategic direction of the hotel.
- Piloting, managing and coaching the different heads of departments.
- Being updated with the finance results (Budget vs actual) and insuring to maximize the revenues and profits.
- Understanding the market needs and working closely with the Sales department in order to define the strategic axes and commercial offers.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of the hotel and the quality of service.
- Ensuring the respect of health and safety policies.
- Working with colleagues to establish a consistent and positive interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Previous experience in a Senior leadership role, the same position is preferred.
- Considerable background in food & beverage.
- Knowledge of budget planning and financial controls.
- Mastering the pack MS office.
- University degree or equivalent.
- Fluent English & French.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Strong Eye for details.
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance.
- Available as soon as possible.

Your team and working environment:

Our Hotel is the leader of the Mice activity in our region (all categories), the revenue ( before the COVID Pandemic) falls to 17 million dollars and our headcount is around 280 Employee.

It also counts: 307 rooms, 12 meeting facilities (several sizes), a Marquee, 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a swimming pool and a fitness room.
