Job Description
• Overseeing the finance department for HEA / HOMA / HTA
• Ensure smooth operation for finance department to support the business operation of Hyflux Algeria.
• To provide training and supervision for local staff.
• Ensure monthly / yearly accounts closing on timely manner
• Safekeeping of accounting file and statutory records
• Budget and Cash Flow Forecast preparation and monitoring.
• Liaise with customer to ensure accurate billing and prompt collection of debts
• Ensure timely filing of reports and regular statutory payments to local authorities.
• Main liaison person with bankers, auditor, tax authority and HQ in Singapore.
• Other duties to be assigned by the Financial Controller and the management from HQ.
Travel Requirements: Yes
Required to go down to Tuas Tembusu.
Reporting Structure:
Report to the Financial Controller or any other person designated by company.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years in managerial position with mid-size organization
• Experienced in staff supervision and cross function management and coordination with other departments.
• Good knowledge in Algerian Accounting law and general understanding of International Accounting practices
• Capable of dealing with senior management and shareholders / directors
• Having general understanding on contract and commercial terms, legal and corporate secretarial matter.
Educational Qualifications:
• Possessed good skills in written and spoken English & French.
• Good understanding of Arabic language and written documents
• Degree in Accounting
• Good user knowledge in MS Office and ERP Accounting system
Language Requirements:
• English, French, Arabic
