Optimization Engineer

• At least 4+ years of experience in radio network design and optimization.
• Mastering at least one technology, having good expertise in the other technologies is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Ericsson Mobile System.
• Knowledge of nodes and individual products, such as antenna, radio-related equipment and radio network features.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge and experience on monitoring and adjusting radio network parameters.
• Knowledge and experience on Network Performance Improvement process. (Experience on handling statistics counters and counter based KPIs. Able to customize KPIs according to customer requirements,
• Experience on statistics handling using Business Object, EniQ (ENM).
• Require familiarity with Mapinfo Nemo Outdoor measurement tool and Actix Analyzer post analysis tool.
• Experience with OSS tools [MRR, RNO (NCS, NOX and FAS…].
• Experience with RND tools (Tems Cell Planner and Universal, Tems Investigation/Nemo)

Requirements

• Knowledge on frequency/SC/PCI planning to assure good voice and data quality in the network.
• Knowledge on capacity planning
• Basic knowledge about transmission and switching.
• Good written and oral skills in English. Arabic and French language knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent team player
• Able to work under high pressure and deliver on time
• Well Organized
• Cultural awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (teamwork, knowledge sharing, commitments).
• Good user of MS Office, Programming Language is a Plus.
• Knowledge sharing attitude.
