Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To be the Interlocutor of company in the project.
- Lead a team and ensure their discipline and integrity to optimize operations and maintenance of Desalination Plant to ensure 100 % plant availability for water production to meet dispatch quality, quantity and energy consumption requirements.
- Develop O&M organization chart, staff qualification and requirement, and plan recruitment for their report to work promptly.
- Review, develop, and approve standard operating procedures for operations and maintenance of Desalination Plant.
- Review and approve plant improvement work for plant and system optimization to achieve better water production, quality and cost.
- Main contact person for liaising with off taker and Owner for all issues related to operations and maintenance of Desalination Plant promptly and in a professional manner.
- Review and approve various monthly progress reports to Owner and Off-Taker promptly and with accurate information and data. Ensure proper record of all documentations are kept
- Ensure all Operator's permit and license required for plant operations are renew promptly
- Oversee EHS system implementation to ensure no environmental, health and safety violations
- In charge of the budgeting process.
- In charge of the human capital and material resources and coordinate the production organization and set the organizational development.
- Handle the purchasing approvals and ensure the legal bookkeeping dedicated for this purpose.
- Ensures the holding of stocks and their thresholds.
- Handle the official correspondence and contracts redaction with third parties.
- Responsible about all material and immaterial resources related to his authority.

Requirements

- Diploma / Degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
- At least 15 years of experience in which 10 years of project management experience, preferably in water treatment projects
- Candidate with experience in Middle East, North Africa / overseas will be an added advantage
- Willing to travel and station overseas
- Good personal disposition - Able to manage and build up good rapport with client, and respect from the subcontractors
- Flexible, adaptable and able to lead a project team.
- Very good command of English language. French and Arabic will be an advantage.
