Sales & Marketing Director based in Algeria – Residential Real Estate Development

Excelsa Real Estate is looking to appoint a Sales and Marketing Director to a key real estate development in Algeria. The appointment will be in charge of the sales, marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activity of - (Residential Communities Mixed Use Developments, in order to achieve profitable sales according to the agreed budget, through a competent sales team and with effective and strategic marketing campaigns and world class customer service throughout the entire lifecycle.

Le Patio is a mixed-use ground-up development located in Ain Benian, a middle-income suburb in Western Algiers. The project will be the largest private sector development in the area with 70,000 sqm of BUA comprising of 200 residential units, 12,500 sqm of high-end retail, 5,500 sqm of office space, and 600 parking spaces.

The role will comprise of;
- Achieve targets set by the company in relation to units sold, average selling price, overheads, marketing budgets, etc.
- Prepare market research and competitor analysis with continual updates.
- Define Target Markets and develop applicable pricing models.
- Design relevant marketing and sales strategy.
- Create marketing and PR strategy for pre-launch and post launch era consistent with the overall business strategy.
- Develop applicable pricing models.
- Responsible for the design and presentation of all Sales environments and marketing material for all aspects of a mixed use community.
- Manage advertising schedules and create/implement design concepts.
- Production of presentational/marketing material.
- Liaison with customer service in order to enhance the reputation of the company, increase profitability and to achieve customer satisfaction.
- Market research and competitor analysis.
- Negotiate sales transactions and promote mortgage arrangements for all sales.
- Ensure the sales team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organization of the department’s workload.
- Liaise with marketing and advertising service providers.
- Recruit and train staff.
- Manage sales administration process – including cooperation with the legal department.
- Manage sales collection process – including cooperation with the finance department.
- Directly report to the Country Manager.
- Report to the Executive Board when required.

This role is key to the development company and will carry a strong package including a competitive salary, healthcare, travel, bonuses in a friendly corporate working environment.

Requirements

The role will require a highly successful and target orientated Real Estate Sales professional with flair and personality.

Other requirements are;
- Bachelor's degree in Business studies, marketing or relevant field.
- Proven track record in similar role or at the level of Senior Sales & Marketing Manager not less than 6 years in the Levant, GCC, or EU regions
- Good awareness of ERP systems and CRM.
- Five or more years of experience in residential sales preferably in mixed use, phased and multi-unit projects.
- Experience of managing budgets/cost control, and planning, prioritizing and organizing work to meet targets.
- Self-confident, decisive, resilient and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Specialist knowledge of sales/marketing techniques, research and analysis.
- Self –disciplined, with excellent time management skills, and flexible in order to achieve results.
- A motivational team-leader focused on managing, coaching and developing the Sales team to achieve their full potential.

Arabic and French are required.
