Job Description:
Adhere to master production schedules and product specification sheets.

- Verify if the the correct packaging materials are on the production floor before the start of every shift.
- Ensure that the target dimensions are kept within tolerances.
- Checks the physical attributes and perform online quality checks to products. Is a Manufacturing Conformance champion.
- Work closely with Quality department to address and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure that production targets are met.
- Supervise the processes which has been assigned during machine operation.
- Ensure that machines and auxillary equipments are operated as per standard operating procedures.
- Report immediately to Process-Control technicians in case of deviations and malfunctions of the machine.
- Participate in the Root Cause Failure Analysis to help resolve outstanding issues.
- Participate in the preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown maintenance and inspection routines.
- Improve operational efficiencies by keeping variations and downtimes in accordance with Management targets.
- Keep the machine and the production floor clean and tidy. Is a 5'S' Champion.
- Participate in the operational and workplace improvements programme and offer suggestions
- Comply to company, safety, environmental, governmental policies and regulations as they apply
- Issue production reports at the end of every shifts
- Hands on contribution to changeovers. Ensure a methodical, efficient, and a quick changeover.
- Minimize change-over waste by u sing ceterlining team (if need be)
- Improve personal technical knowledge by: studying machinery manuals and SOPs, assisting the maintenance team, and by inspecting machines
- Receive raw materials on the production floor
- Make accurate production floor stock take as and when required
- Return unused materials for different format sized and from previous production runs to stores

Requirements

- Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge; computer literacy; 5 year experience in similar position in a factory environment
- Educated up to secondary school- preferably up to Higher School Diploma; keen and quick learner
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Fluent in English
- Good leadership skills, good team player
- Good analytical skills
- Sharp person, proactive and reactive
- Valid certificate of character
- Clean, good personal hygiene
