Logistics Coordinator

• Overall control and monitoring of inventory management/supply chain management for entire scope of the project.
• Coordinating the receiving, storing, preservation, and issuing of materials and equipment stored in the laydown area ensuring safe unloading and stringent procedures are adhered too.
• Coordinate all logistical movements from suppliers to site to ensure all goods/materials are delivered on site to the prescribed location in a timely and safe and timely manner
• Create processes and procedures for issuing materials out of our yards.
• Encourage and ensure a constant positive interface with client to keep a smooth transition of materials from suppliers to site.
• Working with site personnel on look ahead for priority materials to be issued as per the construction schedule.

Requirements

• BS DEGREE in Business or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in materials/logistics coordination relating to construction works
• Proficient with MS Office Applications
• People management experience
• Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills
• Good influencing and negotiation skills
• Proven project coordination and analytical skill
