Major infrastructure projects awarded to Seymour Whyte have increased significantly, as has the size, reach and complexity of these projects.

We are in an exciting period of growth - with several new projects, a strong pipeline of work and more forecasted projects, we are looking for Planners who are available to relocate to Australia and work on a full-time basis.

About the role:
• Develop programs in Primavera P6 based on construction and contract requirements.
• Regular updates of contract program to protect rights for delay claims and associated contractual rights.
• Cost and resource load program, produce resource histograms and identify problem areas, produce cash flow forecasts.
• Run a monthly schedule analysis showing actual versus planned progress during the past period.
• Provide cash flow data for the project using Primavera P6.
• Support the project in contractual extension of time claims.

Requirements

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
• Experience (5+ years) within civil construction industry.
• Prior experience formulating construction programmes within civil construction environment
• Road and Civil construction planning experience
• Relevant tertiary or practical qualification.
• Demonstrated intermediate to advanced application of Primavera programming software packages.
• Familiarity with lineal construction activities.
• Advanced time management and personal organisation skills.
• Ability to foster harmonious working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills – English language
