Job description / Role

Our Client is an Australian market leader in the design and distribution of innovative aluminium systems to the architectural, residential, industrial and home improvement markets.

Australian Visa, Role & Primary duties include:

Our Client is seeking to employ Storeperson for warehouses in Australia. For successful candidates, subject to conditions, our client is offering a 3-year employment in Australia with the possibilities of permanent residency. The key roles and responsibilities are listed below:

- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, unload, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilization.
- Complete diary logs into inventory.
- Perform general administration duties as required to ensure daily performance targets are achieved.
- Capable of operating lifting equipment to move stock.
- Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlines
- Management of stores inventory and coordination of periodic stock takes
- Manual labor related to any task required on a daily basis.
- Assisting in day-to-day operation of the warehouse & production.
- Other duties as requested by the manager.
- Report any discrepancies.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Contributing fully and enthusiastically to the needs of the company in order to meet departmental and company performance targets.
- Comply and promote health and safety culture.

Salary:
USD 3,000 to 3,300 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Skills and experience
- Warehouse experience would be an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet replenishment targets
- Capacity to work in a physically demanding role
- Proficient written and verbal communication
- Abide by company policies and procedures
- Able to work a flexible roster
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
- IT skills coupled with experience requiring accurate data entry
- Ability to multitask

Language - Functional English is a must.
- An average band score of 4.5 for IELTS
- Or total band score of 30 for PTE will also be sufficient
- Or completion of a degree, a higher degree, a diploma or a trade certificate in an institution with two years of full-time study where all instructions were in English also suffices.

- Visa and placement fees must be covered by the job applicant if he or she is offered a position.
