Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Coach, develop and train current team members on performance expectations
• Provide input and insight on talent evaluations and performance development discussions
• Onboard and train new team members
• Execute change management within the team as required
• Ensure all department metrics are met by monitoring individual and team productivity
• Ensure compliance of all department SOPs
• Use of camera monitoring system, opening/closing walks, CT-PAT best practices (i.e. id checks, perimeter walks etc.)
• Responders – First Aid/CPR or any employee or facility related emergency situations
• Partners with leadership, Human Resources and vendors on workers compensation claims to include investigation, documentation, verification of return to work and accommodations
• Delegate and assign daily tasks based on current needs or staffing levels
• Ensure timely completion of all department related audits – Monthly Safety, Fire Extinguisher, Alarm Tests, Ladder Inspections, Weekly Facility Security and Safety Audits, Emergency Exit Lighting
• Communication - Create and distribute monthly safety audit schedule for team, create content and deliver weekly chalks, create and distribute daily shift recaps

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience in Safety and Security or Asset Protection
• Able to stand/sit for long periods of time
• Able to multi-task in a fast pace environment
• Basic experience using Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications
• 6 months of Leadership experience
• Able to be able lift up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• OSHA Certification in General Industry Regulations
• Understanding of Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT)
