Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A foreman is an individual who has knowledge and experience in general gardening work, with the ability to supervise the staff members in performing garden maintenance and landscaping project-related work.

• Work closely with the Supervisor in leading the staff members in performing general gardening work;
• Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure the work is completed on time and as per instruction;
• Carry-out ad-hoc/other duties to be assigned by the Supervisor/Head as needed;
• Ensuring a safe working environment for everyone working at the site;
• Strictly adhering to company rules and regulations;
• Maintaining good relationship with team mates and superiors;

Requirements

• With a Diploma of any Agriculture-related course;
• With minimum 2 years experience in landscape gardening work;
• Familiar with tropical plants and various plants used in Middle East;
• Knows how to use basic manual and powered tools and equipment for gardening;
• Preferably with experience in handling / supervising laborers / gardeners;
• Must be comfortable in receiving and giving directions to act as liaison between supervisor/management and staff /laborers;
• Team leader; willing to learn new skills; hard-working, respectful, honest, and diligent at work;
• Physically fit to do garden work for long hours;
• Must be below 30 years old; Gender: Male
• Must have a Driver’s License;
• Can communicate (speak and write) using Basic English Language;
