Employment: Full Time

The company:

Based in Bahrain our client is a leading Islamic retail bank, providing a diverse range of Sharia compliant products. They are currently looking for an Asset Management Consultant.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide the CEO or whomsoever else requested by the CEO with general strategic advice, and will introduce international contacts and divestment opportunities to the company and assist in management and speedy execution of the divestment transactions relating to the Assets.
- Review and comment on the periodic market research on sectors in which the Bank has invested with relevant updates to be shared with the senior management.
- Identifying, negotiating and executing exit opportunities.
- Effective coordination with Head of Asset Management Department (AMD)
- Preparation of teasers with the help of AMD.
- Identifying and selecting and engaging external advisors, if required.
- Preparing investment memo on asset sale status with the support of AMD for the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Oversee the preparation of investment term sheets and lead negotiations and execution of exit transactions with counter parties.
- Coordinate with AMD and investment companies to prepare and coordinate on due diligence requirements of potential investors.
- Coordinate with Legal Department / External Legal Counsel in preparing documentation and in executing transactions.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the CEO

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

- Thorough knowledge of financial and investment markets in more than one discipline. With emphasis on banking equity, private equity, real estate and insurance industry.
- Good market knowledge and contacts in the investment domain
- Extensive experience in identifying, analyzing, valuing, negotiating, executing, monitoring and exiting investments with comparable experience in corporate finance or project finance.
- Possesses superior client relationship skills and proven track record of managing and exiting large and complex investments.
- Proven financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Excellent English writing skills.
- Interpersonal and Communication effectiveness.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in investment banking / asset management and at least 5 years in a senior position in an investment bank.
- Bachelor degree in a business related major, preferably Master's degree.
- Professional certificates such as CFA, CPA or similar qualification is preferable.
