Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE:
To prepare and manage accounting, financial planning, cost, budgets and financial reporting within corporate deadline and accurate financial information is made available to support management decision making.

Job Description
• Gap assessment of the current management information and reports;
• Recommend and devise , prepare /compile /manage new information systems/reports
• Prepare and submit the management information /reports – Daily, Weekly , Monthly, Semi-annual Annual as required including Forecast, Budget; Variance Analysis;
• Prepare and review Actual Cash flows and Forecast
• Prepare letters to inform Lending banks two months in advance for maturity credit facilities ;
• Review and recommend factors influencing business performance in terms of cost and revenue;
• Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
• Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
• Assist Finance team for completing internal and annual statutory audit
• Prepare and review financial feasibility reports
• Review Credit Control operations and recommend corrective actions
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
• Preform other duties as assigned by Senior Manager Finance and CFO

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Qualified accountant CA, ACCA
• 3-5 years’ experience (with 2-5 years working financial planning and reporting level)

Job-Specific Skills:
• Strong MS office skill, with particular emphasis on MS Excel;
• Knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards
• Strong analytical skills and sound understanding of process and transaction flows
