Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a leading upscale Italian/Mediterranean restaurant in Bahrain who are looking to hire an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee the restaurant and report directly to the property General Manager.

Your main responsibilities will be to oversee day to day operations of the outlet, you will be required to continually exceed the existing high service levels. You will work in unison with the culinary team to deliver a flawless dining experience. This role will have oversight across daily schedules of activities across the property and the restaurant.

You will oversee generate all reports for the restaurant as well as ensure constant compliance with local liquor laws and local health department.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, with a solid background in upscale restaurants. Knowledge of Italian and or Mediterranean cuisines is an added advantage.

This role requires an organised and charismatic leader, someone to motivate the time to strive for the best each and every day.

Due to the scope of the role preference will be given to European candidates or candidates with European work experience.
