Job description / Role
A global investment management firm is seeking an AVP - IT Infrastructure to be based in their Bahrain office and contribute to the overall development of their I&O strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Manage locally driven IT services and enterprise strategic plans
* Champion the organisation's I&O strategy to take advantage of new business opportunities
* Supervise the infrastructure team and oversee project deliverables
* Contribute to the design, development and operation of all IT systems
* Ensure disaster recovery architectural plans and operations are maintained in line with business levels
Requirements
You will have the following skills:
* In-depth knowledge of data center operations and IT infrastructure
* Proven experience in leveraging IT service management practices
* Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
* Proven experience of more than 10 years in an IT focused role
* A background in financial services is preferred
* Working knowledge of Cisco, VMWare and Windows platforms
* Strong knowledge of project planning and tools
