Job description / Role
Objectives: The Blasting & Painting Supervisors will be providing on-site supervision working within the shipyards to oversee the Blasting & Painting works on ships in dock.
Reporting to: Blasting & Painting Manager
Subordinates: Blasters, Painters, Foremen
Duration: 2 year contract
Desired start date: ASAP

Main responsibilities:
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure safety standards are met
- Completing the scope of work to timeline & budget
- Provide the team guidance
- Resolve issues related to blasting & painting works
Requirements
- Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as a Tank Coating Supervisor or Team Leader in a maritime environment (ship repair yards or new building yard or tank coating company).
- Soft Skills and Personality traits: Hands-on mentality, stay daily 8-10 hours on board during execution of tank coating or hull coating works.
- Age Range: 30 - 55
- Language Fluency: English
