CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator to join our dynamic team in Bahrain. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create precise CNC lathe programs.
- Set up CNC lathe machines for production runs, including tool changes and offsets adjustment.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products using measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality.

- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer and Operator with a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages, particularly G-code and M-code.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Salary:
BHD 300 to 450 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
