Job description / Role
Gulf Connexions has partnered with a joint stock company registered by the Central Bank of Bahrain to support them in urgently recruiting Qualified Actuaries for their corporate team based in Bahrain.
They are looking to identify experienced individuals who are coming from a Reinsurance background with strong exposure to Life and Health.
Their vision is to become the reinsurer of choice for Oil & Gas, Property and Engineering lines amongst others and so they are dedicated to attracting the strongest talent that is available in the market.
Responsibilities:
• Achieving business responsibilities by the implementation processes and tools to perform data analysis and statistical modeling.
• Providing support on actuarial reserving and development of facultative pricing tools.
• Review of Risk Budget Modeling.
• Performing pricing analysis for various reinsurance options.
Requirements
Competencies:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with majors in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Sciences or similar relevant field.
• Proficiency with tools (similar to) like ResQ, SQL, etc.
• Strong hand-on experience on spreadsheets, programming languages, statistical analysis programs.
