We have an opportunity with the largest holding company in Bahrain.

This would be an ideal opportunity for a candidate with 10 years minimum experience to work with a leading contractor on some major infrastructure & build projects in the Middle East. This role is working with the largest & well-established Arabic contractor in Bahrain, with a large number of expats within key positions.

Job Summary

The Corporate Contracts Manager will oversee an extensive portfolio of projects focusing on Project Contract Management, Claims Management, Construction Law, Legal Risk Management and all forms of Dispute Resolution. Roles and responsibilities include providing commercial, legal and practical advice to Division Managers and Project Management teams within the businesses.

Further responsibilities include:
- Monitor, supervise and ensure the compliance with project related contracts
- Draft contractual correspondence and other legal documents related to project execution and the contract, in collaboration with legal team and senior management
- Provide support in the review of correspondence from clients/suppliers/subcontractors and draft responses to proposals, bids, contract variation requests and claims
- Provide support in preparing / assessing / negotiating contractual claims and variations, and all related documentation
- Provide accurate and timely advice to senior management in relation to projects/contracts and/or claims, and prepare regular reports as required
- Provide support in negotiations with project stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders as well as external advisors and consultants

Requirements

Requirements
- Have a recognized qualification in a related legal, commercial or engineering field - LLB preferred
- Have 15+years of relevant experience, minimum of 5 years in the GCC
- Have significant experience in construction dispute resolution
- Have membership or certification of recognized industry body /institution - MRICS is preferred.

BHD 5-5,000 per month + private medical + flight ticket to country of origin annually.
