Job description / Role
Job Purpose
The Customer Relations Specialist is responsible for analyzing accounts receivable statements to identify overdue and delayed payments, ensuring the company maintains its revenue streams. This role involves building dynamic relationships with external customers and internal Finance and Operations teams to resolve issues related to monthly statements and outstanding balances.
Main Duties
• Coordinate with Sales teams on reconciliation and collection issues.
• Collaborate with Credit Control teams on relevant documentation.
• Visit customers to assess statement balances.
• Ensure timely receipt of payments from customers.
• Provide acceptable payment plans to customers behind on payments.
• Build relationships with customers and external stakeholders to mitigate future issues.
• Execute company policies to reduce debtor days in line with budgets.
• Ensure compliance with audit recommendations.
• Advise on government-related product clearance formalities.
• Administer effective business activities to maintain revenue streams and minimize credit risk.
• Identify potential risks with new customers and recommend credit limits.
• Escalate potential bad debts to management.
• Maintain up-to-date customer accounts and ensure timely statements.
• Recommend halting supplies to overdue accounts.
• Suggest improvements to processes and assist with data analysis.
• Help reconcile complex accounts escalated from Accounts Receivable
Requirements:
Qualifications
• Graduate in a business-related subject (desirable).
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Arabic (advantageous).
• Valid Bahraini driving license.
Experience, Training, and Skills
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills, particularly with local government bodies.
• Knowledge of end-to-end credit control and accounts receivable processes.
• Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Intermediate computer skills.
Working Conditions
• Standard working week of 44 hours, with potential for additional hours as needed, particularly for collections.
• Office-based role with significant market presence, requiring visits to up to 15 customers daily across Bahrain.

Salary:
BHD
700 to 800
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
