Job description / Role
- Manage projects Infrastructure design and implementation.
- Reconcile developments contracts in accordance with standards contracts adopted by the company, and in association with the construction management team, PM, Project Consultant and Quantity Surveyor.
- Assist in soliciting proposals for all external consultancy services, provides recommendations for appointment of, and creates professional services agreements with, these consultants.
- Collaborates with the Developments Team for the creation of a Development Brief and Project Brief for the development and delivery of the asset.
- Collaborates with Company Legal Services provider in drafting of all relevant contracting agreements with 3rd party out sourced consultants, contractors and other vendors. Jointly with the Company Legal Services provider, reviews contract agreement terms proposed by prospective clients, prospective business partners and real estate asset owners.
- Participate and assist in managing the external Project Management Company which is assigned to the project to manage the time, cost and quality issues with other external consultants and contractors.
- Participate in regular project performance review meetings with consultant, PM teams and with the main contractor organizations to ensure that Company’s expectations are being met. Assist in production of minutes of these meetings and circulation to stakeholders.
- Assist in managing the Cost Report for the investment projects with co-opted assistance from the external PM and external Cost Consultant.
- Liaise with the external PM to deliver all value engineering and re-design processes which may be required for the investment project to meet Company’s commercial objectives.
- Liaise with the external PM to ensure that the external Cost Management Consultant meets all the deliverables of his service agreement.
- Liaise with the external PM to ensure that the external Design Consultant meets all the deliverables of his service agreement.
- Arrange to apply for required approvals from relevant Authorities, follow-up, initiate meetings, and review feedbacks in order to expedite the process of requisite approvals.
- Review all payment valuations with the external PM and the Cost Consultant prior to certification. Ensure these certificates are provided to Company in a timely manner for approval.
- Work collaboratively with the Construction Management team in the progress and management of construction activities, provide support where required and maintain the quality of the project through the process of materials and finishes selection.
- Leading and managing the team in providing internal tasks such as conceptual design proposals, subdivision, design drawings review, presentations, area analysis, etc. Prioritise and allocate tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
Requirements
- University Qualifications: BSc in Architectural Engineering or Equivalent
- Experience in Infrastructure Implementation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD (2D and 3D)
- Professional certification like Project Management PMP is an added value.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
