Responsibilities
- An understanding of effective electrical inspection processes, technical submittals, and drawing review.
- Serve as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of electrical works. This includes reviewing contractor's electrical/technical submittals, shop drawings, value engineering proposals, and RFIs.
- Review contractor's electrical change order proposals and prepare any appropriate recommendations to MEP Manager for review.
- Demonstrated experience and capability in all aspects of electrical engineering within construction, including HV and MV distribution, ELV systems such as fire alarm, IT, A/V, CCTV, and access control, plus underground utilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and professional firm image.
- Ability to understand, identify, and assess project risk.
Qualifications
- 2+ years electrical engineering experience including site experience.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Good communication skills.
- Prior experience in the Gulf Region is preferred and advantageous.
