Responsibilities

• An understanding of effective electrical inspection processes, technical submittals, and drawing review.
• Serve as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of electrical works. This includes reviewing contractor's electrical/technical submittals, shop drawings, value engineering proposals, and RFIs.
• Review contractor's electrical change order proposals and prepare any appropriate recommendations to MEP Manager for review.
• Demonstrated experience and capability in all aspects of electrical engineering within construction, including HV and MV distribution, ELV systems such as fire alarm, IT, A/V, CCTV, and access control, plus underground utilities.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive client relationship and professional firm image.
• Ability to understand, identify, and assess project risk.

Qualifications

• 2+ years electrical engineering experience including site experience.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Good communication skills.
• Prior experience in the Gulf Region is preferred and advantageous.
