Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Established in the 1989 and following this as a shareholder company in 2010, our client is a leading supplier of shares, bonds, Sukuk bond and mutual funds to the local market in Bahrain.

They are looking to recruit an Enterprise Systems Specialist.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer Maintain & Support Enterprise Systems infrastructure and technical requirements based on the Enterprise Systems Architecture and the Business need.
- Assist Officer on day-to-day tasks.
- Perform on-site and remote technical support.
- Organization and inventory of all Enterprise Systems resources.
- Maintain excellent communication with the IT Team on all tasks and projects.
- Create and maintains technical documentation.
- Plan, design & document implementation of various Enterprise Systems.
- Develops procedures for Enterprise Systems backups.
- Monitors & plans distribution of Enterprise Systems services.
- Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and work with various vendors for procurement.
- Provides emergency on-call support.
- Provide Level 1 & 2 support & maintain support record.
- Supervise & Administer Blades.
- Supervise & Administer VMware Infrastructure.
- Supervise & Administer TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager).
- Supervise & Administer Windows Server / Active directory server.
- Supervise & Administer Exchange server.
- Supervise & administer Anti Virus system.
- Supervise & administer SMTP server.
- Supervise & administer all standalone servers.
- Perform on-site and remote technical support.
- Assists in the organization and inventory of all Enterprise Systems resources.
- Implementation of various Enterprise Systems.
- Assists in maintaining and monitoring procedures for Enterprise Systems.
- Coordinates the distribution of Enterprise Systems services.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by superior ranks.
- Windows server, Exchange server, SOLOMON, Laser Fiche and other systems upgrade.
- Assist in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include desktop PC’s, servers, network equipment, and software applications.
- Regular update of Windows server OS.
- Routine regular backup of user data on Windows server.
- Daily operations.
- Level2 support.
- Incident reporting.

Requirements

- Master’s/Bachelor's degree in computer science ora similar computer-oriented major.
- Relevant Certification(s).
- Degree with + 2 years of experience
- Or Diploma with + 6 years of experience
- Fluent in Arabic & English
- Candidate must be based in Bahrain
