Job description / Role

The Company:

General contractor operating across the Middle East, responsible for successfully delivering major building and infrastructure projects over the past 50 years.

Position:

• We are searching for an experienced Civil Estimator with proven track record to join to our estimation department.
• The candidate must have at least 15 years of experience in estimating, knowledge of local rates and market and he should have a Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveyor diploma, understand tender drawings, specifications, analyze in depth, evaluate and negotiate quotations received from supply chain and subcons and able to prepare detailed cost breakdowns including materials, labor, plant & equipment and all site operational expenses, ensuring that our bid covers all potential expenses and that it is compliant with the specifications and tender documents.

• Qualification to Diploma or Degree Level in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years quantity surveying and commercial management experience in civil engineering and building works.
• Excellent communications skills in English.
• Previous experience working in Bahrain / Middle East is required.
• CRPEP registered is preferred, but not a must.

BHD 800 to 1,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
