Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key tasks
- Ensures guests have a smooth running stay at the hotel
- Organises the customer welcome and care provided by his/her team
- Supervises the work of the receptionists on his/her team
- Helps meet the department's quantitative and qualitative targets
- Implements brand and Group projects and identity features such as A Club
- Assist with the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office Department and all related Guest Services, achieving maximum sales and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to the standard of service required by the hotel in accordance with Mercure Grand Hotel Seef policies, procedures and objectives
- Act as the first and last point of contact to our guests, assisting them with any related query
- Be accountable and responsible for their respective shift ensuring that all tasks assigned to them are completed
- Develops high quality relationships with guests, from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay, in order to foster loyalty
- Takes into account and anticipates guests' needs
- Handles any guest complaints that cannot be settled directly by team members and provides a rapid solution
- To meet & greet & farewell the guests in a friendly & professional manner
- Be aware of and prepare for Group arrivals on the day
- Follow up on room discrepancies and communicate to HSK about them
- Review the activities of the team members on their shift (eg. Reservations checked in, profile completion, City Ledger back up attachments
- Act as a role model for other team members at all times
- Maintain a positive can do attitude at all times towards both internal & external customers
- Fully aware of ACCOR and Mercure programs
- Fully aware of the ACOR values
- Should perform other duties assigned by superior(s).

Requirements

Skills
- Level of Education Others Areas of study Hospitality Management Professional experiences 3 to 5 years
- Languages essential Arabic, English
