Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• International Certification in Procurement & Supply Chain (CIPS, C.P.M, C.P.S.M etc...) is an added advantage.
• Develop, implement and manage Policies, Procedures & Processes of Procurement function.
• Recommend streamlining of processes and/or procedural improvement to increase operational efficiency.
• Identify, develop and implement long term sourcing strategies to support overall Business Plans of.
• Development and maintenance of Approved Vendor list.
• Periodical review of Supplier Performance.
• Identify opportunities for Strategic Alliance with key Suppliers.
• Recommend sources, price levels, delivery lead-times and procurement strategies to be used in Tenders.
• Ensure that business processes, procedures, service delivery and records management are uniform, consistent and efficient in the administrative structure.
• Review & approve Purchase Orders as per Approved Discretionary Authority Limit (DAL)
• Interview, select, train, supervise, and evaluate Procurement staff.
• Perform other related duties as and when assigned.
• Comply with all safety rules & regulations; attend required safety trainings / programs.
• Ensure that all procurement works are carried out with a high quality standard and minimum cost.
• Ensure Quality Control Systems are maintained in line with the recognized working practices and the Company’s Quality Systems Manual.
• Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times.
• To ensure acceptable standard of Quality, Environmental, OHSAS and Security Management System is maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company’s QEHS&S Manual & Policy
• Apply and execute the requirements of ISO 28000 (E), ISO 27001, ISPS related to job and Security Management System for the Supply Chain & Information Security Management System are maintained.

• Contact with all Divisional Managers, Department Heads, and Section Heads as operationally necessary.

• Vendors (Local / International)
• Oil & Gas Companies / Marine Operators / Industrial Clients
• Third Party Inspection / Expediting / Logistics Agencies.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business Administration with 10-15 Years’ experience in Procurement & Supply chain in Marine and Oil & Gas Industry
• Candidates having longer years of experience in Procurement & Supply chain (in excess of 20 Years) may be exempted from the requirement of formal College Degree.
• International Certification in Procurement & Supply Chain (CIPS, C.P.M, C.P.S.M etc...) is an added advantage.
