Employment: Full Time

POSITION PURPOSE
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations, projects, and to deliver the strategic operational goals of the Regional Centers and associated business units as set forth by the Executive management and COO. To develop and implement business process enhancements to deliver greater profitability, productivity and to ensure the delivery of sustainable continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility. This position reports to the COO.

ESSENCIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
• Oversee the streamlining the operations of Regional centers as per envisaged regional structure
• Oversee the efficient day to day requirements of the centers within delegated DAL and tasks as given from COO
• Identify, assess, and inform the COO of internal and external issues that affect the Regional centers and associated business units
• Responsible for managing and implementing the overall Regional centers and associated business units requirements in coordination with the COO and in line with objectives set.
• Recommend, develop and implement strategic and tactical planning for client satisfaction and delivery excellence
• Work with the COO, Branch Managers, and other regional managers to protect and grow existing business as well as qualify any new bid business opportunities within assigned territories
• Drive, alongside the COO, the identification, capture, and implementation of business opportunities and products
• Provide support and guidance on ways to ensure growth in revenue within center based on a set revenue goal
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities and schedules of BU in conjunction of COO
• Track items that effect budget, performance, and quality of service; complete in-depth analysis of these and related items; implement and manage necessary changes for improvement
• Supervise the preparation and submission of business planning information for the Centers and associated business units including budgets and travel plans
• Supervise the preparation of all required reports in coordination with the centers and other functions of the organization such as finance, technical assistance, etc…
• Periodic Review and monitor the implementation of audit and operational quality assurance reports
• Work with Actuaries on improving and updating pricing tools as a reflection of the business of the different regions.
• Work along Regional Centers in assessing the skills, talent, and recruitment needed to improve our operational standards and product diversification
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline is required
• Additional education and/or credentials, such as an ACII or MBA are highly preferred
• Must have at least 10 years of experience managing underwriting and teams within the insurance and/or reinsurance industry
• Must have a solid understanding and proven experience growing/developing new business
• Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Displays concern for managing a balance between profitability and quality of service
