Job description / Role
The successful candidate will manage and grow the commercial air-conditioning business and services while overseeing all operations within the division to ensure profitability and viability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assume full operational responsibility for profit and loss related activities.
• Prepare business forecasts, budgets, and other reports in addition to monitoring the timely flow of necessary paperwork.
• Oversee and ensure the department meets budget and schedule timeline in accordance to the scope of work.
• Oversee service levels and direct technical support when required on a daily basis.
• Coordinate, schedule and manage work orders.
• Oversee purchasing of all parts, equipment and material for the service department.
• Perform customer visits and inspections to ensure service level of the highest standards.
• Oversee all aspects of quotes, write proposals, and general correspondence.
• Review department in-depth for potential liability and roadblocks.
• Establish a team culture among service center personnel and hold the team to a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Financial analysis to identify trends and prospective problem areas, and take immediate action based on findings.
• Develop new programs and execute established plans to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Maintain a working knowledge of competitors, develop innovations to maintain market lead, and share best practices.
• Collaborate with local management and staff to uphold best practices for safety and sales generation in the field. Dedicate at least 5% of your time to fieldwork to gain a “bottom-up” perspective on enhancing efficiency, cohesion, and viability.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Delivery and quality of maintenance work
• Reduction in risk to the operating equipment
• Effectiveness of the revenue and resources expended to achieve those results
• Positive P&L with high Gross Margin
Requirements:
• Bachelor Engineering – Mechanical
• Minimum of 10 years leading teams servicing B2C & B2B customer markets
• Minimum of 8 years of experience successfully leading a fast-paced service organization and a proven track record of growing a business

Salary:
BHD
1,500 to 2,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
