A HR role with one of the regions leading Oil & Gas companies.
Ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for all employees.
Work with the compensation and benefits team to ensure that the company maintains its competitiveness in the marketplace. Liaises with department heads and advises on transfers, promotions, salary adjustments and new positions.
Reviews regularly turnover trends and ensures strategies are in place to manage unwanted turnover.
Generates employee statistics reports as and when needed. Processes monthly headcount reports and organisation charts.
Provides guidance to managers on employee relations issues. Assist in disciplinary actions that have legal or employee wide retention/morale issues.
Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived to be unsafe.
Reports all incidents or near misses to supervisor/manager or a QHSE representative
Takes Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) lead in ensuring "safe systems of work" and "safe conditions" are in place within area of responsibility.
Demonstrates visible commitment to HSE by periodically leading/taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills, etc.
Ensures assigned staff complies with all company HSE policies and procedures and related initiatives.
The ideal candidate should have a University Degree in Business Administration, HR or equivalent.
3-5 years experience in professional Human Resources and Administration roles.
Previous experience of developing and implementing systems and procedures.
Strong understanding of resourcing strategy and best practices.
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Good managerial skills in a diverse workforce setting.
