Reporting to Head to Internal Audit.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Head of Internal Audit in risk assessments and contribute to the multi-year internal audit plan
• Plan and perform assigned audits from start to finish within agreed timelines
• Prepare concise, high-quality audit reports aligned with audit findings
• Maintain audit working papers per internal guidelines and IIA standards
• Stay updated with IIA standards, regulatory changes, and emerging risks
• Track and follow up on Management Action Points (MAPs) to ensure timely implementation
• Establish effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and group functions where required
• Provide internal control insights on new or revised products, systems, and regulatory changes
• Assist in ad hoc audits, investigations, policy reviews, and other assignments as delegated
Requirements:
• 10-15 years of audit experience across business, operational, and IT domains
• Experience in the banking and financial services industry and/or a big 4 audit firm
• Proven ability to conduct cross-functional audits independently
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT controls, and governance frameworks
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or a related field.
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications:
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
