Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for actively supporting the management of the portfolio handled by the team and reporting requirements.
• Assist in performing due diligence on current and potential investments, using financial analysis skills.
• Engage and liaise with internal departments or external counterparties.
• Support and assist with the portfolio governance function of the department.
• Assist in preparing reports on current and potential investments.
• Keep the team up to date with relevant market information.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations or documents for management.
• Assist in preparing reports relating to portfolio governance.
• Liaise with internal departments within the company to manage actionable items.
• Monitor and follow up on specific tasks and project deliverables.
• Maintain strong awareness of local markets and monitor the performance of current investments.
• Conduct research and financial analysis on current and potential investments.
• Represent the company and clients in AGMs and EGMs of portfolio companies and ensure required and required documentation are prepared by the relevant department.

Requirements

Qualification and Experience requirements:
• 4-8 years of overall experience and minimum 2 years in a relevant role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Professional qualifications in Financial Analysis, such as CFA or similar, are an advantage.
• Must be fluent in English & Arabic.
