Investment Research Analyst

Job description / Role

Gulf Researcher is an on-demand business research company with primary focus on the MENA region. The company is planning to introduce investment and financial research as part of its core service offering. This is a new business line targeting private equity firms, investment banks, brokerage firms and asset management companies.

The Investment Research Analyst is expected to be one of the first members to join the team and support the Director in launching this new business line. We are looking for an energetic, proactive and detail-oriented individual.

The role includes but not limited to:
• Performing company analysis and valuations
• Building and maintaining financial models
• Conducting in-depth company, sector and market research
• Performing peer benchmarking and precedent transaction analysis
• Screening companies based on appropriate financial and operational metrics
• Supporting in preparing investment cases, presentations and pitchbooks
• Other research and analysis to support client investment decision making process
