Junior AV Technician

Job description / Role

• Should be energetic and agile to act fast at sites.
• Work will include climbing at high levels and at times entering into the false ceiling to check/debug systems, pull cables, etc.
• Should have a basic understanding of various audiovisual cables, connectors, and signals.
• Should have a basic understanding of various control cables, connectors, and signals (IP, IR, RS232, etc)
• Should be able to solder and terminate all types of audiovisual and data connectors and cables.
• Should have a basic understanding of the interconnectivity of audiovisual equipment

Requirements

• Should have a basic understanding of data networking.
• Should know how to use multi-meter efficiently.
• Should have some previous experience in wiring up an audiovisual rack.
• Should understand the basics of electrical systems and wiring.
• Should be familiar and ready to learn more about basic settings of audiovisual devices like TV, Bluray players, iPods, music servers, etc.
• Should have a driving license.
