Job description / Role
The Junior Sales Executive - Services is responsible for promoting and selling a company's services to new and existing customers. This role requires a deep understanding of the company’s service offerings, the ability to identify customer needs, and the skills to build strong relationships with clients. The Junior Sales Executive will work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
• Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and developing sales strategies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
• Present and demonstrate the company’s services to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition.
• Understand the client's business needs and recommend appropriate service solutions to address those needs.
Customer Engagement and Retention:
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries, handling objections, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly, offering tailored services and solutions.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop a thorough understanding of the market, competition, and industry trends to inform sales strategies.
• Set and achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team and company sales goals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify opportunities for lead generation and promote services effectively.
Contract Negotiation and Closing Sales:
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to close deals and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Draft proposals, service agreements, and contracts in alignment with company policies.
• Work with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are in compliance and executed properly.
Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales progress in the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for review by the Sales Manager/Director.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, customer feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Support:
• Collaborate with the customer service, operations, and technical teams to ensure the smooth delivery of services to clients.
• Assist in resolving any post-sales issues, ensuring the customer’s needs are met effectively.
• Provide feedback from customers to management for service enhancement or product improvements.
Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
• Keep up-to-date with market trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.
• Continuously seek opportunities for product and service innovation that would appeal to target clients.
Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
• A Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on selling services (experience in the specific industry is a plus).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Key Skills:
• Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to understand and explain complex services to clients in an accessible way.
• High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience in customer engagement, relationship building, market research and prospecting
