Legal Affairs Manager - Bahrain

Are you an energetic, ambitious and competent legal advisor looking to join a rapidly developing business? Our client, responsible for launching a "first of its kind" Fintech product, have already grown large enough to start building their own in-house legal team, as outsourcing can't keep up. This role will give the right individual to add real value to an exciting organization with a view to building an entire legal team underneath them in the coming year/s. As the Legal Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for drafting and negotiating all contracts and agreements, attend and represent the organization at all legal meetings, review employment agreements and will be responsible for overseeing all of the organization's legal functions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leverage news opportunities generated by the Central PR team on a regional level and contribute to the implementation of a regional communications strategy for product launches and corporate affairs
• Responsible for generating impactful film and photography content to resonate with local audiences
• Work alongside the Retail Marketing Manager to support key commercial objectives of the region through developing and managing integrated digital campaigns
• Monitor and evaluate the retailer-owned microsites, and social media channels to ensure that they are kept up to date and in line with the global best practice focusing on engagement and reach
• Be the first line of contact for regional media and external stakeholders for product and brand enquiries, as well as crisis communications
• Develop a network of non-traditional media contacts such as bloggers, influencers and word-of-mouth advocates that support Sales and Marketing goals and help position the company at relevant venues, events, and locations in the region

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Law degree and related qualifications are required
• Minimum 5-years relevant working experience (in Commercial Law)
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required
• Strong communication both written and verbal, proactive, energetic, responsible and a team player
• Ability to build excellent cross-functional relationships with key members of the management team
• Highly organized, methodical and ability to work independently
• Passion of FinTech and understanding of regulations relating to FinTech ecosystem
• Strong commercial awareness and experience of working with commercial agreements and contracts
