Employment: Full Time

The Company:
Our client is responsible for managing and operating airports. They are currently looking for a Lounge Manager.

Job Purpose:
To manage the delivery of various lounge services, including food, beverage, and ambience and service elements

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Availability of items that might be requested by passengers
• Responsible for department budget and financial performance.
• Train department employees and schedule work hours, rostering and duty assignments
• To manage and liaise with the catering and cleaning contractors to ensure that all necessary works are being conducted as per the agreed terms of reference. Inspect and carry out regular checks of all areas of the Lounge.
• To promote various services and facilities of The lounge and services to customers.
• To review operating procedures and operational problems in order to determine ways to improve the services, performance, and safety.
• To handle and resolve customer issues and complaints in a professional manner and actively seek to improve customer experience.
• To design, implement promotions and/or programs that maximize revenues and profit.
• Planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• To draft quality assurance policies and procedures, including operating procedures and grooming guidelines. Whilst, reporting on their adequacy to ensure ongoing improvements.
• Conduct regular meeting with staff and informing staff of all changes, problems, and emergencies confronting the The lounge Operations and performance objectives.
• Individual needs to have a professional appearance and a warm, accommodating, and confident personality.
• Must abide by the principles, goals and policies in the airport.
• Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work for varying schedules including holidays, to accommodate the business demand of the airport.
• This job requires extensive external interactions, representing The lounge to a diverse range of contacts, from prospective clients to VIPs.
• Work under variable temperature and noise level.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality / Hotel Management
• Minimum experience: 8 – 10 years
• Communication, Grooming, Customer Service Orientation, Inter-personal skills, Negotiation, Presentations, Grievance Handling, Crisis Management, Decision Making.
