The IT Advisory team in Bahrain is looking for professional consultants at Manager Level. As part of the team, you will be advising our clients on executive and management issues, defining strategies based on leading practices, identifying and championing large transformations, and assisting with key decisions on how technology will drive business performance, enrich the customer experience, and optimize costs.

To support our clients during the planning, design and implementation of large-scale business transformation, the IT Advisory team provides the following services: CIO Advisory, IT Audit & Governance, Shared Services and Outsourcing and Technology Enablement which includes Enterprise Resource Planning, Business Intelligence, IT Service Management, PMO Services and Enterprise Architecture.

Successful applicants will be joining an experienced team and can expect to be an active team member, play different roles on a variety of projects, and positively contribute to all aspects of growing our practice.

Client delivery activities and areas of responsibility can include:
• Consultants / Sr. Consultants / Manager actively participate in multiple aspects of projects by identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analysis, as well as synthesizing conclusions and presenting recommendations
• Supporting end-to-end technology-enabled business transformation for Tier 1 and Tier 2 ERP, Business Intelligence, and IT Service Management solutions
• Supporting the development of application strategy and solution selection, including options analysis and business case development
• Information system audits related to assessment of IT risks and controls, including general controls environment and automated controls embedded within information systems environment
• Supporting large-scale transformation programs including project, change and risk management

Internal KPMG activities and areas of responsibility can include:
• IT Advisory practice development and growth
• Business development (including proposal development, presentations)
• Working cross-functionally within Management Consulting practice and with other Advisory, Audit and Tax colleagues
• Manager : 8 - 10 years of similar experience in any Big 4 consulting and /or a leading commercial organization of which a majority should be in Management consulting in IT

Requirements

• A strong academic record and demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
• Certified in PMP, CISA, CISM, ITIL or other relevant certifications. Preference will be given toward candidates that have one or more of these qualifications
• Experience in proposal development and presentations to new / potential / existing clients
• Experience in building business opportunities and client relationships
• Ability to handle a broad range of projects in a deadline-driven environment with ambiguity
• Experience in delivering management consulting projects in IT Space
• Relevant experience in assessing IT and/or business process risk
• Highly motivated, committed, self-starter who can prioritize work and be flexible to cope with changing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
• Attention to detail and good organization and analytical skills
• Willingness and ability to travel periodically
• Experience assessing IT general controls
• System implementation or system project management experience
• Use of data analytic tools or experience
