Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Provide leadership in quality assurance of production releases/patches deployment by ensuring appropriate testing/validation process is adopted/evidenced for production changes.
• Develop and implement Release appropriate management procedures with recommended controls.
• Provide oversight and review of production release/patch deployments along with source code control and version management.
• Perform risk assessment of changes and maintain active risk registers for systems/processes.
• Co-ordinate Change and configuration management of production systems.
• Assist in selection/deployment of appropriate tools for change/source/config/release management in a hybrid environment.
• Track, monitor and report exceptions on regular basis.
• Ensure documentation of production processes and artefacts.
• Provide support, guidance and training to group entities in QA and Release management best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering with specialisation/certification in Quality & Process management is required.
• At least 6 years in a Quality/Process engineering role within the banking industry dealing with hybrid systems.
• Should have experience in evaluating/deploying and streamlining QA & Release management using industry standard tools and processes.
• Hands on experience in testing/documentation, QA, configuration/change/release management processes.
• Good written and verbal communications with formal documentation skills is a must.
• Fluent English & Arabic language skills.
