Marketing Graphic Design Executive

Job Overview:

The Marketing Graphic Design Executive will be working as part of a small team where s/he will be involved in all aspects of the marketing strategy with a strong focus on design; taking responsibility for producing various types of marketing collateral, communications and ensuring brand consistency across AIS. The ideal candidate shall have a mix of creative, design and marketing skills and will be a self-motivated and highly organized individual who can manage several projects at once. S/He will also have the desire to come forward with new ideas and contribute to the bigger picture.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Design:

• Artwork creation: brochures, adverts, flyers, business cards and other marketing collateral and preparing artwork for print where necessary.

• Create e-shot designs for e-marketing campaigns.

• Design or adjust artwork and sales documents in line with AIS guidelines.

• Effectively manage multiple briefs at a time, prioritizing where necessary and providing updates where relevant.

• Think creatively, generate new ideas, designs and concepts. Demonstrate an eagerness to learn, participate as a team player, share information and a fresh perspective.

Marketing:

• Help to plan and deliver events and campaigns.

• Creation of promotional merchandise, show flyers, pre and post event marketing.

• Vendor finding and management.

• Assists in the coordination with resident companies and their marketing/social media endeavors.

• Proposes, confirms and stays within approved budgets for marketing activities.

• Represents the organization with management approval and takes an appropriate leadership role when the opportunity presents itself.

• Works on special projects, initiatives, promotions and other programs as needed at the direction of the Director of Marketing.

• Manage and maintain AIS’s social media accounts with an aesthetic that is consistent with the overall AIS branding.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent.

• Competence in the following software is required: Adobe Software- InDesign & Photoshop. Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.

• Experience of working in a graphic design or marketing role.

• Hands-on, self-motivated and naturally organized individual.

• Creative with good attention to detail.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Proactive, task driven and positive attitude.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Preference to having the ability to create videos, GIFS, animation or promotional articles and materials.
