Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key tasks

- Welcomes guests who arrive late and takes care of them until their departure
- Contributes to guest satisfaction by providing a high standard of service in line with norms and procedures
- Is responsible for the hotel once the daytime managers are off duty
- Helps the department meet its quantitative and qualitative targets
- Ensures the safety of property and people - Represents the General Manager and the Front Office Manager throughout night operations and decide and act on his/their behalf
- To Ensure That Breakfast and meeting rooms functions are as per requirements
- Fully responsible of the Hotel Safety and Security During The Night
- To Ensure Proper Closing and opening for all outlets
- Ensure smooth operation in the night Shift and all department are available at all the time .
- Provides a warm and personalised welcome to guests
- Anticipates guests' needs and takes them into consideration
- Handles any guest complaints and/or remarks
- Conveys the hotel image
- Takes care of the arrival and departure processes for guests, ensuring they take as little time as possible
- Informs guests about the formalities, any special conditions relating to their stay and the services available
- Handles phone calls and manages the reservation schedule
- Follows up any customer requests (wake-up calls, taxi, breakfast room service etc)
- Writes a report on activities and incidents that occur during the night
- Ensures that guest documentation at reception and in the lobby is available and up-to-date
- Ensures that all reservations which have a routing instruction in Opera have the requested back up documentation
- Ensures the rooms bucket reflects the actual status of the hotel (room moves & early departures)
- Ensures that registration cards of the reservations checked in on the shift are completed properly with all the required information and signed by the guest
- To run the Opera Night Audit procedure, including but not limited to the following:

* Close Day, Findex, PM checking, printing the morning reports for all related departments.

Skills

- Level of Education Others Areas of study Hospitality Management Professional experiences 3 to 5 years
- Languages essential Arabic, English
