Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Assist the Head of Business/Operations to prepare short- and medium-term plans under his/her operations of the organization;
• Develop, comment and finalize contract with member banks, merchants, fintech’s, etc.
• Managing and developing good relationships with client banks on their day to day card planning, developing, executing, monitoring and controlling related service with proper stock projection;
• Accepting orders, embossing, printing and dispatching based on the SLA of client banks;
• Handle properly and professionally all disputes and frauds raised by client banks both on card issuing and acquiring business operations;
• Ensure that proper working guidelines are in place to execute and manage card issuing and acquiring operations of the organization;
• Handle the process of establishing business relationship and/or partnership with various payment schemes like Visa, Master Card et. as well as local and regional switches
• Establish proper working procedures and communications with client banks, merchants and fintech’s;
• Ensure that the settlement and clearing files sent from client banks, merchants and international payment Schems are properly maintained and dispatched to the responsible entity;
• Ensure that debit, prepaid or credit cards dispatched to client banks and those that are not received are properly administered and maintained;
• With the assistance of technical team, ensure that all client banks ATMs, POSs and accepting devices are working properly and monitor devices uptime;
• With the assistance of client banks, ensure that the process for PIN re-issue, Card re-issue, hot pinning etc. are being executed properly and professionally;
• Monitor that the service availability level set with client banks for issuing and acquiring operations are maintained
• Identify, acquire and manage resources necessary for each service area under the hierarchy to fulfill its goal and objectives
• Prepare and present reports to the management, client banks, international Payment schemes, merchants or central banks as necessary
• Performs any additional tasks as necessary

Requirements

• B.Sc./ MSc in MIS, IT, Computer Engineering, BIS or other related business disciplines
• 10 years in handling technical and/or card operations, out of which 3-4 years as Head or above in the banking, Financial industry, preferably on the Fintech / card payment operation.
