Employment: Full Time

Gulf Researcher is a custom research company based in Bahrain with primary focus on the Middle East. We are a fast growing start-up looking for an Operations Manager to provide day to day support as well as help us build and streamline our operations.

The manager will be responsible for all business support functions including finance, technology, human resources, legal and office management. This job requires someone who can own projects or tasks and bring them successfully through to completion.

Areas of responsibility include but not limited to:
- Finance: managing invoicing, processing of expenses, administering payroll, interfacing with accountant
- Technology: procuring technology, coordinating with IT support
- HR: supporting in recruitment and training
- Legal: managing contracts of clients and employees, handling other internal/external legal matters
- Office management: managing documents, procuring supplies, overseeing office premises
- Policies: developing policies, procedures and training manual for key support functions
- Other: conducting research, developing marketing collateral, supporting other company initiatives

In addition to executing and managing the above functions, the Operations Manager will be relied upon to develop processes and identify ways we can raise effectiveness.

The manager will be someone who can work autonomously, be willing to help with a variety of projects, and who is continuously seeking/proposing areas of improvement in core and support functions.

Requirements

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. We are open to any academic background including Business, Economics, Liberal Arts, Engineering, Sciences, etc.
- 3+ years of work experience in a fast paced environment (no upper limit)
- Strong communication skills including the ability to design and develop well-structured written material
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proactive team player and ready to help in a variety of areas, even those outside the original scope of work.
- Exceptional project management skills
- Ability to set and manage expectations
- Strong multi-tasking skills, high attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to maintain high quality standards and meeting deadlines under pressure
